Gather Together Set and November Host Code

I just wanted to show you a couple of projects made with the Gather Together Stamp Set that you can find in the Stampin'Up! Holiday Catalog. The Gather Together Suite of products has everything you need to create some wonderful fall projects.

In the above card I used the Come To Gather Designer Series Paper for the center panel and to create the large leaf. For the large leaf just stamp the leaf image on the DSP and cut with the coordinating dies.  Yes, there are coordinating dies to cut out images they are called Gathered Leaves Dies. Here is a little note pad holder I made using the Designer Series Paper and Gathered Leaves Dies. The paper pad is 3 x 5. The cardstock used is Merry Merlot and Cajun Craze,

These dies cut and emboss the paper! The leaves were cut using Crumb Cake cardstock, Before I cut them out I pressed the die into Merry Merlot Stampin'Pad to get the effect you see.

Here are some instructions to make this project:

• Find a note pad that measures 3" x 5"
• Cut your cardstock to 5 1/4" x 7 3/8"
• Score at 3 1/8", 3 1/2" and 3 7/8"
• Crease you folds well with a bone folder
• Fold your paper together on the center fold
• Cut with paper snips between the outside two folds for the pen holder. Make two cuts about 1 inch apart. 
• With the project right side facing you, press the center fold to the inside while pushing the pen holder part outwards
• Adhere the center fold to the inside of the holder with Tear and Tape adhesive.

I would suggest making this on scrap paper first so you can practice the fold.
